Payment done Pavement Not done Yet

I think that after receiving the payment, it not their(contractor's) problem its only our (comman men) problem.
In one way we are customers and contractors have another defination for customer
Customer : Customer means Cust se marne wala.

Politicians when want to get elected promise so much to the common manand the situation is again up around now. What better time to put somethings that has not been taken care by people who promised to makebangalore - a FORIN..:)
This is what I observed in most of the places in bangalore. This iseither due to lack of attention or carelessness or whatever you call. Most of the foot path are not actually path to walk in bangalore. Hereare some pics in basavanagudi region. Where either the work has been stopped for no reason, or if the work is finished its not been donefully and the mess is not cleaned up. This might be a nice idea to callfor a separate tender and make money.
But if such is the thinking ofEngineer in-charge or contractor then I don't know what to call them. But I think if there is some co-ordination between BWSSB, BBMP and BSNLI think we can keep our city clean so that you know who is handlingwhich project and when.
Area corporators also have their role to play in this after all theyclaim/promise to do so much to the community. When all said and done I think we the people should be aware of how to get things done if wereally need to.

BMTC Buses and their fuel effiency

Most of the BMTC buses are old and there fuel efficiency is completely in a
very bad shape.
Govt has introduced lots of volvo A C buses but they may also turn into
the inefficient one,if the number of commuters will not be controlled per
trip.
Volvo A C buses for White field or ITPL are always over crowded in
the morning and evening.
Authorities should make sure that only a proper number of people should
travel at a time.

Govt Planning for street lights blubs with CFL ... a good move

Recently it was given in a daily newspaper that govt is planning to replace 1 million sodium bulbs with CFL one. A good move, but they should stop using the ordinary/sodium blubs for all the new lights installation. Recently near to Bhouraka IT park a new light(big one with a combination of so many lights.... do not know what exactly is the name of that kind of light) was installed and its not with CFL. First giving it with sodium light than replacement with CFL...............ultimately wasting public money.

Traffic Jam Problem

Every corner of the city is facing the traffic congession
There are parking problem, in every corner of the city.
So many reasons are there behind them:
1) Many complex do not have proper parking facility, so forcibily people have to park on the road. Which creates traffic jam problem.
2) Buses do not stop at the proper places provided to them. They stop in between and
which creates the traffic problem.
3) People wait for the buses on the road instead in the bus stop and which also leads to the traffic jam.
4) Some people park their vehicle on the road, even there is no parking there. For e.g. on the way to ITPL from K R Puram, we can see lots of trucks and mini-trucks parked on the roads. And the whole 2*2 roads gets converted in to 1*1. I do not understand what the traffic police/incharge is doing there.
5) Roads are not wide enough.
6) On the way to ITPL the railways bridge is not wide enough and which creates hell lot of problem. But it seems that some action has been taken and govt is going to make it wider. But as the govt goes with its own the pace and it will take years to compelete the project. But in fact its a need of an hour and they will provide that in years.
7)

.... lots more to come.
